0.5 Micron Stainess Steel Diffusion Sone

Carbonate or dissolve gasses into your beer, wine or other products with this simple to use tool.

Due to the extremely high surface areas of bubbles created while using the diffusion stone liquids can become saturated in the gas of your choice much faster than most other methods.

How to use:

1. Attach the barbed end of the diffusion stone the end of your gas tubing (CO2, Nitrogen, Oxygen or other). Ensure you do not touch the stone with bare fingers and to minimise contact with any oils or dirt as it will clog the stone.
2. Unclog your stone by boiling it while forcing 2-3 psi through your stone for at least 5 minutes.
3. Adjust the regulator to 1-2 psi and begin bubbling through the solution you want to saturate with gas until you reach your desired level of gas saturation. Keep in mind gases are more soluble in cold water based liquids (bar some examples) so keeping temperature lower will allow more efficient saturation.
3. Remove the stone from your liquid (again ensuring to not touch the stone and store in a plastic bag.

Help! I clogged my stone:

Bring a few litres of clean water (ideally demineralised) to the boil and force 2-3 psi of gas through it for 5-30 minutes.
