25 Watt High Temperature Magnetic Drive Pump - 1/2" BSP

Medium flow rate centrifugal pump capable of operating at liquid temperatures of up to 120C.

A cost effective pump option with substantial flow rates and large operating temperatures. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 120C it can handle boiling temperatures directly without the need to cool the liquid before use. This pump also features an extremely efficient 1.1amp pump which can be run continuously at elevated temperatures. 

The impeller housing is made from polysulfone as it is a tough, food-grade plastic rated up to 120C. The magnetic drive acts as a clutch allowing the user to put back pressure on the pump to slow down flow without any damage to the pump. This means ball valves can be attached to the outlet side of the pump and the flow speed can be reduced with out risking impeller damage.

The magnetic drive prevents contact between lubricated bearings and the liquid by using a changing magnetic field to drive an impeller instead of directly driving the impeller itself. This ensures there is no contamination during pumping and disassembly for cleaning is simple as there are very few moving parts contacting the liquid passing through the pump.

Please note: This is a centrifugal pump and must be primed with liquid prior to use. Failure to do so will lead to cavitation within the pump head and can damage the impeller. Do not submerge this pump in water.
