Our custom grain bill system is designed for brewers who want precise control over their recipe without compromising on accuracy, freshness, or usability. Rather than working from off the shelf all grain kits or approximations, this allows you to select individual grains and with exact quantities. It also minimises wastage, only order exactly what you need.

Each grain bill is picked, weighed and packed to order. Grain is milled fresh at the time of packing when selected. For brewers with their own mill, unmilled grain remains the better option for long-term storage and greater control over crush size. The choice is yours.

Our standard crush is set to balance efficiency with mash performance across a wide range of systems, whether that be a Grainfather, Brewzilla or 3v system. Husk integrity is maintained to support proper lautering and reduce the likelihood of a stuck mash/sparge. This is the same crush we use with our Grainfather G40 and get consistent 80% brewhouse efficiency.

Each grain bill is packed into a single bag ready for brew day. This reflects how most recipes are ultimately used and keeps handling straightforward. Where required, grains can be packed separately, which can be useful for late-mash additions, steeping grains, or ongoing recipe development, though this does involve additional handling. Please note if you need multiple bags you will need to order multiple grain bills.

All orders are packed fresh and can be either shipped or made available for click and collect, with your preferred option selected at checkout. While turnaround times can vary slightly, online orders are generally dispatched daily. Click and collect orders are often ready within an hour, though this will depend on workload at the time. Please wait until you’ve received your pickup notification before coming in to collect your order.
