Perle is a well rounded German hop variety bred from Northern Brewer boasting both high oil and alpha acid content. Perle is a great variety for use both early in the kettle as well as late or dry hopped. Early additions will give a clean bitterness and a light herbal, woody note while late additions tend to promote more of a fresh floral flavour and mild fresh fruity notes.
