Eclipse, also known as HPA-016 is an Australian dual purpose hop. This crop features alpha acids in the 15%+ range making it great for new world styles. Eclipse features a flavour and aroma profile of citrus and resin with notes of orange, mandarin and citrus while still holding some earthy tones.
We recommend using eclipse in new world styles including but not limited to; NEIPA, Pale Ales, XPA/VPA, Cream Ale and IPA.
