A carefully crafted blend of sweeteners designed to deliver the ideal balance of sweetness and mouthfeel.
This non-fermentable sweetener blend is ideal for back sweetening cider or ginger beer before bottle conditioning, as it won’t impact carbonation. Each pack is formulated to provide the equivalent sweetness of a 5% sugar solution when mixed into 9.5 L of liquid.
The difference between Sweetener 1 and Sweetener 2:
Both Impressence artificial sweetener blends are completely sugar-free, combining Acesulfame K (Ace-K) and Sucralose (commonly known as Splenda) for a balanced sweetness profile. While neither sweetener works well on its own—Ace-K delivers a sharp but fleeting sweetness with a potential for bitterness at high levels, and Sucralose lingers for a long time—the combination offers a well-rounded alternative to sugar.
Sweetener Blend 1 contains a slightly higher proportion of Ace-K, making it ideal for most beverages, including cider, ginger beer, and fruit-based drinks.
Sweetener Blend 2 leans more heavily on Sucralose and is recommended for bold, flavour-packed drinks like cola, where a longer-lasting sweetness is needed to complement the intense flavour profile.
