FermStop is an effective spoilage preventer to the fermentation process. FermStop is a powerful yeast inhibitor, rather than killing off the yeast, it hinders the yeast's ability to multiple and be active. The active ingredient is sodium benzoate. Sodium benzoate works as a preservative by converting into benzoic acid in acidic conditions, which then inhibits microbial growth and extends the shelf life of products.
