Rakau™ Hop Pellets are a variety of triploid hops from New Zealand, meticulously bred and selected for their exceptional characteristics and dual purpose for brewing. Originally released by the NZ Hop breeding program in 2007, they have since been widely utilised in both organic and conventional cultivation methods.

During the selection process, Rakau™ Hop Pellets stand out due to their intense aromas, which are derived from a high concentration of oils. Selectors commonly agree that the main fruity scent is reminiscent of freshly picked stone fruit, specifically apricots.
