Roasted Wheat is produced from unmalted wheat grain, giving it a unique flavour and character. It imparts characteristics of wheat malts as well as the dark colour and coffee notes of a roasted barley. Since wheat malt does not have a husk it doesn't add a harsh astringency to your beer.
