This fitting is used to blank off an 8mm duotight female fitting when not in use.
This fitting is used for gas or liquid leak testing, particularly with duotight manifolds or fittings. These plugs are also handy for sealing off duotight manifolds or splitters if they are not necessary.
Use it instead of attaching hosing to a disconnect which has other leak spot potential.
