Black Rock Crafted Lager is gold in appearance with a lacey head, the aroma of light malts is pleasant, and the body has good malt weight. A refreshing lager with good maltiness and moderate bitterness on the finish, quaffable and refreshing. Pours Light Gold.
The Black Rock Bladder in Box (BIB) range does not require any extra fermentables, brew enhancer, brewing sugar, or sugar. All the fermentables are contained within the bladder. The kit also includes a specialty fermentis yeast, selected for the best results by the black rock team. Feel free to add a 20-50g addition of dry hops to impart a mmild hop flavour.
For a classic Noble hop lager, try one or a combination of Saaz, Tettnanger, or Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. For a refreshing NZ Style Lager, try Riwaka.
