Detailed breakdown:

ONE-HANDED CYLINDER CONNECTION
No spanner required, tighten the regulator onto your CO₂ cylinder using the hand nut. The upgraded spigot seal compresses easily without damage or leaks, making attachment simple and secure.

The handwheel washer is set into a softer sealing surface on the spigot, significantly reducing the risk of damage from overtightening. This updated material also provides a more reliable seal during hand tightening compared to older nylon washer designs.

The system is engineered to control torque automatically, the brass fitting bottoms out at the precise point of optimal seal compression, preventing over-compression and damage to washer.

TOOL-FREE MAINTENANCE ACCESS
Regulator internals are now accessible via the back plate. Use an M8 hex/Allen key or the regulator pressure control knob to open and clean the regulator, no vice or special tools needed. Makes troubleshooting or decontamination straightforward.

GAS OUTPUT WITH INTEGRATED CHECK VALVE AND SHUTOFF
Includes a ball valve, check valve, and an 8 mm Duotight push-in fitting for fast, secure line connections without clamps or barbs.

A built-in ball valve on the gas output allows users to isolate downstream pressure, enabling faster and more precise pressure adjustments. To prevent one of the most common causes of regulator failure, an internal check valve is integrated into the output, stopping any liquid from backflowing into the regulator. The output now features a second-generation Duotight fitting constructed from metal for longevity. The Gen 2 duotight also features dual O-rings, one EPDM and one silicone, providing superior sealing across a range of temperatures.

TRIPLE-SCALE CLASS 2.5 GAUGES
Displays pressure in kPa, Bar, and PSI with ±2.5% accuracy. Easy to read and more accurate than typical Class 3 gauges found on other regulators such as the MK4.

Please note: To avoid damaging the gauges, do not exceed 80% of their maximum pressure rating. 

UPGRADED SEAT CAP ASSEMBLY
Now made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene to handle the stress of force carbonation. Reduces pressure creep caused by internal brass wear and minimizes flaking or sealing issues from contamination. Resistant to abrasion, reducing internal wear and risk of internal pressure creep.

HEAVY-DUTY STEEL GAUGES
Built with thicker steel for better protection and long-term durability in demanding setups. This can resist light knocks and bumps but for a more comprehensive solution we would recommend purchasing an additional MK5 Gauge Guard.

COLOUR-CODED PRV VALVE
Fitted with a 65 PSI green pressure relief valve (PRV). Other options like 35 PSI (red) or 100 PSI (grey) are not included but can be swapped out.

M6 MOUNTING HOLES
Ready for bench or wall mounting via built-in M6 holes. Note: you’ll need to remove the hand nut to mount the unit flush.
