Allows you to regulate the pressure of disposable gas cylinders with a M10 thread.

This regulator is made to suit our disposable nitrogen bottles and allows you to dispense drinks such as cold brew coffee or thick creamy stouts without needing to purchase a full D size nitrogen bottle and regulator. Nitrogen, unlike Carbon Dioxide (CO2), does not easily dissolve into liquid. It creates small bubbles that give a smooth sensation on the tongue, resulting in a creamy texture in beer/coffee. This also helps to mask any bitterness and gives the beer a more rounded fluffy texture. Additionally, Nitro enhances the taste of malt compared to CO2. When poured, these beers or coffees exhibit a cascading effect in the glass, with the bubbles appearing to fall to the bottom while those in the middle rise. These systems have become increasingly popular in modern coffee shops, as they provide a creamy effect without the addition of milk.

We cannot guarantee them working with other disposable N2 cylinders on the market

This regulator includes a 6mm barb fitting. This barbed fitting can be replaced with a 8mm Duotight x FFL adapter if you prefer to use duotight fittings.

Instructions:

  1. Attach the regulator to to the top of your disposable cylinder. Ensure to use two spanners. One spanner will hold the brass neck of the disposable cylinder one is used to tighten the regulator body. Ensure not to over tighten.
  2.  Turn pressure up to desired level. If you are dispensing nitro-coffee or a nitro-stout we would recommend starting with 30-40psi. You can increase the pressure to 40-50psi depending on your desired nitro level.
  3. It is extremely important that you triple check your system for any gas leaks every time you re-connect your gas bottle and regulator. Failure to do so could cost you a bottle of nitrogen.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are removing the regulator at any point you MUST use a spanner to hold the brass neck of the cylinder. Failure to do so could cause the strong adhesive glue to crack and the cylinder detaches from the fitting.
