Next generation ball lock post poppet and spring assembly with better barrier technology and a more robust design.
The Black Eyed Poppet and Spring is KegLand's latest take on the keg post poppet. If you've had poppet O-rings foul, leak or blow off under high pressure, this design is aimed squarely at that problem. The Low2 overmoulded poppet means the whole poppet acts as the sealing surface, so there's no loose O-ring that can blow off under higher pressure, or get jammed open when removing a ball lock disconnect.
Features:
- Better high-pressure performance, so you can run much higher pressures without O-rings blowing off. Suits highly carbonated drinks like sparkling water particularly.
- Overmoulded poppet, built for durability and a good seal
- Slightly concave centre that guides ball lock disconnect pins into the middle for smoother attachment
- Heavier-duty spring for a tight, secure seal
- Low2 materials with better oxygen barrier properties than traditional silicone O-rings

What is Low2?
Low2 is KegLand's yellow and black seal range for homebrew kegging. The components are made from a blend of synthetic M-class and cross-linked elastomers, which gives better oxygen barrier properties than traditional silicone O-rings. Less oxygen getting in means your beer, cider and other drinks stay fresher for longer.
