The Large Copper Parrot Head is a distiller’s parrot that provides the convenience of continuous, real-time, in-line ABV measurement of the spirit as it comes out of the still. Ideal for use with the T500 Reflux and Alembic Distillery Systems, and other large stills.

Two collection methods:

1. Collect the distillate as it drips from the condenser into the Parrot Head collection cone
2. Connect the Parrot Head collection pipe to the distillate out tube on the condenser.

NOTE: This unit will read no greater than 252mm from the base of your Alcometer. This parrot requires an Alcometer with diameter of 23mm or less.

LEGALITY: In Australia it is illegal to distil your own alcohol for consumption without a licence from the ATO. In Australia you can use a still of up to 5lt capacity without a distiller’s licence for either water purification or essential oil extraction.
