This bourbon flavouring makes 2.25L of bourbon with a bold honey character. Afternotes of this bourbon include vanilla, subtle caramel and a light oakiness. This flavouring can also be made up with local honey instead of sugar to add complexity. This bourbon is a popular choice for those who like a less spicy bourbon. This smooth spirit is suitable for drinking neat or mixed with cola.

Instructions:
For 750mL: Pour one third of the flavouring bottle and 150g of sugar into a 750mL bottle or jar. Fill 3/4 of the bottle with 38% alcohol (vodka) and shake until sugar is dissolved. Top up to 750mL with water for a smoother finish; or alternatively top up with 40% vodka for a bourbon with more sting.
For 1.125L: Pour half of the flavouring bottle and 225g of sugar into a 1.125 litre bottle or jar. Fill 3/4 of the bottle with 38% alcohol (vodka) and shake until sugar is dissolved. Top up to 1.125 litres with water for a smoother finish; or alternatively top up with 40% vodka for a bourbon with more sting.
For 2.25L: Pour the contents of the flavouring bottle and 450g of sugar into a 2.25 litre bottle or jar. Fill 3/4 of the bottle with 38% alcohol (vodka) and shake until sugar is dissolved. Top up to 2.25 litres with water for a smoother finish; or alternatively top up with 40% vodka for a bourbon with more sting.
