Aquarium Pump Sanitary Oxygenation Kit

Aerate your wort or yeast starter without introducing microbes into your wort.

Yeast is one of the most important, if not the most important part of creating great tasting beer. Most brewers don't realise that the number of viable yeast cells can have a huge impact on beer quality. 

This aeration kit is a turn key solution for delivering sanitary air to your yeast starter. This kit helps to knock CO2 out of solution while also dissolving oxygen into your wort. Dissolved oxygen during the lag phase of fermentation allows yeast cells to bud off and increase the total biomass of the starter or pitched yeast. 

This kit plugs straight into a 10 amp household outlet and pumps air through a 0.2 micron sanitary air filter which is small enough to filter out microorganisms that could lead to spoilage or off flavour. The kit also includes a 15 micron filter to increase the surface area of the bubbles and dissolve more oxygen while knocking out more CO2 from suspension.

To clean your sintered stainless stone, we recommend to boil it in boiling water and keep it in a ziplock bag until your next use. It can clog easily with the oil in your fingers, so gloves are advised when handling the stone and air filter.
