120L HDPE Fermenter

A great solution for brewing up to 120L batches.

If you're considering increasing your production output then this is the solution for you. Made from food grade HDPE. HDPE is a commonly used food grade plastic that is chemically resistant and is suitable for hot liquids. The open head includes a lid that is fitted using a metal lever lock band for easy removal.

These fermenters do not include a tap and instead syphoning is reccomended. Alternatively you can use any tap assembly that includes a backing nut and drill a hole in the unit.

To fit an airlock to one of these units it's recommended to drill a hole through the small screw on cap seated in the lid and fit a bung into this hole. Alternatively you can use a bung and blowoff tube as this size fermenter will produce a significant volume of CO2 during fermentation that can often blow out the water from your airlock.
