Add a smooth aged character and characteristic sour mash bourbon flavour to your spirit.
Sourced from Kentucky, chipped from wet barrels. Produces an authentic Sour Mash Bourbon. The increase in surface area from the wood chipping process means a faster development of colour and flavour compared to staves or barrel ageing. Soaking craft bourbon, whisky or neutral spirit on these chips will add a smooth texture, and sweet sour mash flavour.
Directions:
Add 10g - 15g per litre of spirit and soak until desired taste and colour is achieved. We recommend soaking for at least 2 weeks. Increasing soaking time or chip dosage will increase potency of barrel flavour.
