Stops hop pellets or cones from entering your brewing system pump or blocking up your pump filter or hop plate.

The spider sits over the edge of your kettle during the boil and helps to keep the vegetal matter from pellet or cone hops from blocking the bottom plate of your brewing system- or even worse blocking your pump.
