An effective stabiliser and preservative for wines and ciders.

Potassium sorbate acts as a preservative on wine and other fermented beverages. It also stops yeast cell division meaning it can be used on fermented products to backsweeten. Ensure to use potassium sorbate with potassium metabisulphite when back sweetening.

Dosage:

1 tsp (4g) in 10 Litres along with 1 campden tablet

Please note this product is used to stop yeast division; it will not halt an already active fermentation. To use this product to back sweeten primary fermentation must be complete and the liquid racked off the yeast.
